As every month, we are about to tell the most representative event of July. In this case we had the pleasure to have one of the most international technology and consulting companies of the world in Madrid Auditorium Hotel. We are talking about IBM.
The American company could enjoy the hotel´s facilities as well as lunches and coffee breaks at the beginning of July, having different conferences and meetings at every hotel´s meeting areas using our Auditorium as the plenary.
During the week there were several activities emphasizing the dinner for the 2.000 attendees which was lighten up by a live dj, at the same time a flamenco show was on going while several screens were broadcasting it in Madrid buffet Room for the attendees to enjoy the dinner as well as the performance.
The high number of attendees also made that several hotels in the nearby stayed a great amount of them.
On Wednesday, after a meeting and conference day, there were buses at the guests´ disposal to enjoy Madrid city center.
After a really productive week, the event reached to the end, not without filling the stomach with an original picnic easy to grab & go in order for the attendees not to have a very tough back.
Thank you to IBM for trusting Auditorium Hotel again.
THE HOTEL AUDITORIUM MADRID CREATES THE WORLD’S LARGEST GOOGLE PROJECT
– More than 12 hours working along more than 15,000 m2
– More than 4,300 pictures
Hotel Auditórium Madrid has managed to make the largest project worldwide of Google, the most important search engine.
The name of the platform is Google Business Photos, a virtual experience through an interactive hotel tour of the inside provided by 360º linked photographs. This allows the user to visit the facilities – including the Principe Felipe Convention Center – exactly as if they were in person within the hotel.
Before booking a room or a meeting room the client can see them and have an idea of their size and possibilities.
In order to make this happen, all the departments were working together coordinated for more than 12 non-stop hours throughout more of the 15,000 m2 while the hotel was being photographed. More of 4,300 pictures have made possible the biggest project in the world of this new platform of Google.
All this not only will help Hotel Auditorium’s Internet positioning, but it will also be used by the sales department as a tool to show the facilities as never before. A map has also been created inside the Convention Center’s website www.centrodecongresosprincipefelipe.com which will take the user to the specific point chosen. This will help the clients orientate themselves throughout their 59 meeting rooms and their 869 rooms.
